Attendees for ESWC Masters
The Electronic Sports World Cup is holding a new qualifying event this year, titled as "ESWC Masters of Paris". The tournament will feature chances of qualifying into the Grand Finals that will be held in San Jose, California between 25-27 of August, 2008.
20 teams from around the world have been selected by the management of ESWC for the candidate list, where 4 teams will be from France - presumably the four best ranked. ESWC Masters is mainly for teams that didn't make it in the local qualifying events throughout the Europe, and this is probably the last chance.
The 3 most successful teams will be rewarded with a total prize pool of $25,000 and autoberths for the ESWC Grand Final. ESWC Masters will be held from the 4th of July, 2008 and will take place in the famous esports arena called "Palais Omnisports" in Paris Bercy, France.

Well, it's most likely a kind of an additional qualifier, the main qualifiers are still the national ones. I'm not sure, but do the 3 autoberths for the top3 places refer to those teams, that haven't qualified already? E.g. if fnatic places 1st, mibr 2nd and mouz 3rd and they qualify in their own country before, will the berths go to the next teams? I guess so.
