China Internet Games 2005
Not many days ago the China Internet Games (CIG) was held offline in China. 8 top players from around the world managed to book their place at the finals, but before we move on to the results let's see how the qualification looked liked.
The players were divided into 3 groups with the winner and runner-up moving on to the finals.
Group A

So, 4K^FoV and Spirit_Moon will be located in China when the finals takes place.
Group B

ToD did a very good job in group B and he will, together with SK.Insomnia, set sails for China.
Group C

No surprises here ReMinD did as expected and DIDI8 followed up.

4K^ToDThat is some very skilled players indeed and we can surely look forward for some very nice games.
And now ladies and gentlemen's let's take a look on the results.
Round 1:

No real surprises here, the Koreans did their job well and ToD took out the newly added fnatic player DIDI8.
Semi-Finals:

FoV proved that he is on fire by beating one of WE's star players ReMinD. In the other semi 4K^ToD was on a mission impossible as he was facing the legendary Spirit_Moon. But ToD was delivering the goods as he knocked out the Nightelf giant 2 games to 1.
Grand Final:

The two clan mates from 4K, ToD and FoV, faced each other in the China Internet Games 2005 Grand Final. ToD was really unstopable and he has had a fantastic run so far, beating DIDI8 and Spirit_Moon. But his amazing win streak came to an end as he was beaten 2-0 by FoV in the Final.
Congratulations to FoV and the 4K team for another amazing performance.
The podium ended like this:

quite an accomplishment by tod to beat moon in a bo3, altough the third game kinda lost it's charm a lil since moon picked wrong hero

It must suck so much going all the way to China, losing your first game and your out. Why couldn't they have used a LB? it ain't like they had 700 players for fuck sake, it was only 8.
