Player Change in MYM.cs

We at MeetYourMakers are sad to announce that one of our Counter-Strike players is leaving the team and organization. The rumors that have been posted on a few sites during the past weeks have turned out to have at least some truth in them.

The member that will no longer play for the Counter-Strike squad in MeetYourMakers is the newest addition to the team, Jon Thomas 'DaY' Rudstrøm, who came from Four Kings and replaced both xione and oops. The reason for Rudstrøm stepping down from the team is due to other commitments in life such as his girlfriend amongst others.

We would like to thank Jon Thomas for his time and effort while playing for MYM.cs and wish him good luck on his way. Securing a spot for this years World Cyber Games, which also probably paid an important part in being handed the ESWC spot, is just one of the highlights we'll remember.

The newest addition to the team is a legend in the Counter-Strike community by the name of Lars 'Naikon' Olaisen (picture), who is known from his time in teams such as eoLithic, Team NoA and Catch-Gamer, just to name a few.

We gladly welcome Olaisen to the team and truly believe that he will help the team progress with his many years of experience from professional gaming. He will, like the rest of the squad, start preparing for the summer events with ESWC being just around the corner.

This is what Lars 'Naikon' Olaisen had to say about his transfer:

"I've decided to join up with the MYM organisation after a year away from professional gaming. When I got the chance to start up again after a hard year at school there was no doubt in my mind. I'm really looking forward to play together with all my old teammates, and working alongside the MYM organisation winning tournaments. I'm ready to show an even better version of me than before."

Henrik 'Kepler' Kepler, Chief Financial Officer, stated this:

"To let a player and a personality like Thomas 'Day' go, isn’t something I will look back on with joy. But having a goal as being among the top 3 in Counter-strike, sets a high level for activity amongst the players, and sadly Thomas doesn’t have the time for that. So therefore we find it necessary to let him go, and let him focus on other things in life. I truly wish Thomas the best of luck for the future and would like to thank him for his time in MYM.

Adding Lars 'Naikon' to our team, brings stability and experience, two things that is very important to us for the upcoming events we have this summer. We start preparing for ESWC and Gamegune now, two great events which we aim to do well in."
