With the folding of the glorious 4Kings, the Warcraft 3 professional gaming scene has certainly come to an end of an era.

While the talismanic Grubby was signed by MeetYourMakers, the remaining three kings was acquired by a less effulgent organization known as PGS.PokerStrategy. myMYM.com talks to one of 4Kings longest standing members, Sebastian "FuRy" Pesic who reveal his thoughts about his new team and new objectives for the new year.

A buoyant FuRy

For how long did you know that 4Kings will disband? The WC3 Scene knew that something is going wrong, but none excepted this to actually happen.

I had my fears for a pretty long time, but as trimble said in a previous interview, it all feel so surreal. I guess I didnt wanna realize it and i hanged on on pure hope in the last months (we all did). Because we have been in 4K for so long, its our home and its all we knew and wanted :)

Did you have any backup plan if such thing would have actually happen?

None at all, I was hoping that it would work out to the very end.

When you knew that 4K will disband, did you know where you wanted to go?

I had no idea about where anyone would go or if we could stay together at all, everything was decided in a hurry, but I'm very very glad it ended up the way it did, staying with Zeus Trimble and LiiL is more than I could have hoped for.

Grubby and ToD left 4Kings. First let's talk about ToD. What do you think about his move to mouz?

I think it was a smart move on his part, considering that SaSe is also in China, along with Fly etc. But nothing about 4K's disbanding was planned on forehand or in any way, predictable.

But it was just a one player, not the whole team. Was ToD's departure a reason to disband the legendary division?

No, thats completely wrong, the reason for the disbanding from the start was finacial problems, thats what caused everything to fall apart. Without money the team cannot continue to exist, sad but true. Right now I just wish that PGS.PS won't meet the same fate as 4K did.

The biggest suprise however, was Grubby's move to MYM. How do you feel about it?

I think it was a very good move for Grubby and I hope MYM will give him the chance to develop and grow even more as a player, I have no doubt he will.

Lets talk a bit about your present situation. PGS is a big team, but without its Counter Strike division, there are countless of speculation on it. Do you think they can still handle title: one of the biggest e-Sports organisation in Europe? Will the WC3 division live up to its name?

I just hope me and my former teammates from 4K can help to lift the team. And to your first question, I'm not really eligable to answer this as im just a player, a new player of PGS but I have no reason to believe anything else.

As it may known already, PGS wont take slot of 4K in NGL-One. Are you suprised of admins' decision?

Not at all. I didnt count on it at any point.

What about the WC3L? What position will PGS.PS.WC3 attain in the upcoming season?

I'm hoping to be able to attend the finals, but for now I would be glad just to get a lineup stable and perform well against good clans and hang in till the next season.

What will your new plans for Warcraft3 be?

For myself, I want to achieve really good results this year, I have a new PC, a new team and many upcoming events, and I plan to do my best in every game. I'm just gonna play, and really enjoy what I do and then see where it leads to. I know what I'm capable of and I've showed it already.

What can you say about the present organisation in PGS?

From what I know so far, we have 4 different guys, taking care of the 4 different leagues we are playing in, Lloth and trimble sharing responsiblity for WC3L afaik, so its really nice so far. We discuss alot about things surrounding the team, that feels good.

If you could go back in time, what would you change in 4K?

Nothing, I have no regrets.

You said you dont regret anything. So are you satisfied with your personal results and achivements?

Yes I'm satisfied with my results and achievements, for sure.. you can always do better but I'm very happy so far with what I have done and achieved. I had a very very small or no motivation at all in the past when the problems started in 4K simply because I was too dependant on the money to survive. That caused alot of stress and bad feeling for all of us.

Then why you didn't you leave the team anyway?

Because we were all hoping it would work out. Because we were really happy with what we had, and we would hold on to the very end to let it slip away.

You were happy with that what you had, but you said you were stressed out a lot. Where is the sense in here?

Your clearly missing the big point here. Before the financial problems started, we had YEARS of extremely good conditions.

So what went wrong? Do you a have new plan now to improve your skill?

What went wrong mainly was that this situation was slowly killing us, motivation faded more and more. And at this point im doing everything I can to come back to my old glory and even surpass it. But I dont want to "whine" too much, since there were many things stopping me from practicing both in real life and other things, but thats resolved now and I hope I can finally have some peace to develop and enjoy this game too.

As you mentioned above: you had real life issues for a very long time (almost a year) already. Could you give us more insight to this problem that has been hindering you for so long?

No I dont wanna give more insight in my problems that I had and I hope I wont have them ever again, I feel they are private and non relevant.

But will it clash with your career ever again?

Not any more, as I've taken care of them , but I cant see the future, if I'll get fucked over again, so be it but I hope to the holy mother of god that ill be granted some peace and serenity to be able to focus one hundred percent on what I love doing :)

When can we expect to see you living up to players like Moon and Grubby?

No, dont expect anything from me. I'm pretty tired of having to live up to such players as Grubby ToD and Creo and constantly being compared to them. They are and were better players than me for a very long time. But I know its inevitable when your in such a high profile clan as 4K. Just dont expect anything and be happy if im doing well. Most of all.. cheer for me!
