Team NoA surprised most of the nation as well as the international Counter-Strike scene, when it was announced that they were throwing out
Christian 'Paddy' Juhl and taking in
Christoffer 'Sunde' Sunde coming directly from
Ministry of Defence. It ended out as a switch when MoD announced Paddy as a standin. Later in the same month it was then announced to the public that
Christian 'XciteD' Mortensen from
H2k.Thermaltake would step back and act as an inactive member of the team, and Paddy would take his place. All this commotion has ended with me putting Christian in the chair and asking him about how he feels about all of this.
Hello Paddy, the last couple of weeks have been kind of chaotic. You went from being a lot of peoples' favorite player in NoA, to being a standin for Ministry Of Defence (red. MoD) untill today where you are one of the five starting players for H2K.Thermaltake – What is your own opinion about the last couple of weeks, any hard feelings between you and NoA and do you feel it was a fair decision made by NoA?
Nah not as chaotic as it may have looked to the public. It was pretty sudden that I got kicked, I understand why now, but I still don’t feel it was the right decision NoA made. But looking back, it doesn’t hurt or such, I now play with H2K and I somehow felt that is what I’ve always wanted to do. I’m feeling great being back with the guys. Hard feelings? Well, a little, but I've crossed that bridge :)
A lot of people don’t think that Sunde can ever replace you. What is your opinion on this? You mention you didn’t feel that it was the right decision made by NoA – do you think Sunde is an acceptable player to fill out your spot, or do you mean that he has a long way to go?
He is a good player, no doubt, the only thing I didn’t understand about the choice being him – is that he also is a AWP-player, but guess they figured out some way to use that anyway. So I guess he is a fine replacement.
It was some switch you might say, going directly from NoA to being a standin for MoD. Why didn’t you end up as the final 5th at their team – Was H2K.Thermaltake already a part of your plans at that time, or was it clear from MoD’s organization that the standin part was only temporarily?
MoD lost Sunde with this switch, and since i know the guys in MoD we talked about me playing for them untill they found a 5th. I didn’t have any contact with H2K at the time about joining them, but decided that if didn’t receive any offer from H2K, I wouldn’t continue playing – But I was fortunate enough to get the offer.
NoA|guddo: 'No doubt that Christian has his qualitites, he can play both offensive and defensive – in interaction with his great and stabile aim. ‘Musse’ personality is a great teddy bear (with its qualifications), and a great person to hang out with.'
When the clan changed name to H2K.Thermaltake they announced that they would let their personal life be the most important fact and counter-strike come as a second choice – only to practice for important and big events – How is this now?
It is pretty much the same, more or less. We’ve agreed to practice for the important online games as well though, and if time is on our side, we’ll try to practice some more when Andreas (KongKat) and Jonas (whimp) finally finish their education. :)
Has it been hard to get kicked from Denmark's best team, to their biggest national rival?
No, not at all. I believe that when we get started playing together again, NoA won’t be the best Danish team anymore – I believe that H2K.Thermaltake we can be the best Danish team.
As we all know, you are now a H2K player, but what does the future hold for you? What happens in 6 months or so when counter-strike 1.6 might not be the game as we know it today – Will you change to counter-strike: Source, or will you quit for good?
In between NoA and where I stand now, I actually tried playing some source – and it turned out to be kinda fun. But that’s something we’ll all look into, if the time comes. If our team is willing to give it a go in source, well then it’s just that simple – we’ll take on source. But I hope that cs 1.6 will stay for at least one more year :).
mod|anizz: 'Paddy is a remarkable and wise player who is good at reading the opponent. His aim is just the same, incredible. These things are some of the qualities which makes him the great and known player he is. He is a kind person, with a great sense of humor – but he can sometimes be sort of arrogant (:D)'
I’ll let you breath now, about the whole NoA versus H2K time and move on – What do you think about the current national team selection? Do you think it is fair that a player like ArcadioN isn’t getting a shot – as many readers think that he, (amongst others) should?
Yeah I actually do. I think it is NoA and H2K who has the best players, and therefore, it is them who have been selected (along with anizz – MoD) – Maybe people like ArcadioN should get their chance, but it should be in CBNC (ClanBase Nations Cup), where there isn't as much at stake as in the ENC (European Nations Cup).

That was all we here at MYM had to ask you, we thank you for your time and wish you the best of luck in H2k.Thermaltake – Want to throw some gangster signs, drop a shoutout or stab someone in the back with a statement or something completely different – the time is now.
No problem at all.. MoRf4r is a jerk @ LAN, Andreas is love :)
