INTRODUCTION

While going through a list of players that play as Undead in Korea, there are a lot of names that come to mind, one of the most prominent names has been FoV for a long time now. He has a string of achievements to his name, he has won ESWC, the 1st for a Korean player, he has won a lot of online tournaments internationally and has performed well in the Koreans too, albeit with limited success. Cho Daehee, part of the European Elite clan 4 Kings, has made the word Undead synonymous with his name.

In the past few days, I had a chat with him and we got to know more about FoV, the balance of Warcraft 3, his determination to go on and a lot more.

The Beginning

Hailing from a starcraft background, FoV also underwent the natural transition from Warcraft 3 to StarCraft, while he may have not touched the pinnacle with StarCraft, he certainly has come close in Warcraft, as he himself admits, “I have tried and aimed to become a pro-gamer since TFT”. FoV, stands as one of the strongest Undead players of Warcraft and what was the reason behind his rise? “practice”, the one word which he uses very often. Things weren’t always so good, he started out where all of us do, the noob syndrome was there for him to deal with. Did he get scared to play solo initially? “I played for fun, and if I lost then I saw replays and then I won when I met them again. I am enjoying it this way”. He humbly acknowledges that he found himself to be good at the game only when he reached level 50 as the 4th player on kalimdor and when he won the ESWC.
