Hi, can you introduce yourself to the readers?

I'm Daniel Dougherty, I'm 16 from Liverpool in the UK!

The majority of people outside the UK know very little about the CS teams there except for 4K. Can you give a short summary of Goldbricks history? How long has Goldbrick exsisted?

Ummm we formed about a year ago now, had a few roster changes here and there, but generally we've always had myself RattlesnK and w1cked in the lineup! We competed in the CB Eurocup, other than that in the european scene that's the only european league we've played in so not many people will know us!

You recently won the British WCG Qualifier, do you have an explination for why?

We played our own game and kept calm and concentrated. Oh and I let Mangiacapra beat me 10-0 on aim map :D

How did it feel to defeat a team like Four Kings not only once but twice at the same event?

Maybe it's not the exact 4Kings lineup, but it still felt great to beat them as still with 2 stand-ins, they were the favorites, when we beat them comfortably on nuke there was alot of confidence in our team and I think then we all knew we were going to win the event

You mention the fact that they were indeed a mix team. Do you think that it effected the outcome a lot?

Well, obviously they wouldn't been prepared as much as the proper 4Kings team, but still you could say it was a mix vs mix, we only picked up vpr a week before the event, and he only offically joined us after we won the final, but still I'd like to play vs the proper 4Kings lineup

I can imagine it was pretty intense going into overtime in the Grand Final, tell us more about that match! Did you doubt the victory at any point during the game?

Overtime was very intense, the prizes at stake added that extra pressure aswell, we just stuck to the way we played during the 2nd map of inferno knowing that if we played the same in each half of the 2nd map we could win overtime, as the 1st map was a disaster, and I always try and think positive so I was only thinking how we were going to win the game

You point out that you just added vpr to the team, how is working out for you?

Well really he was in old goldbrick lineups, so we knew him pretty well anyway, he's a nice guy and a good player and as soon as we start practicing for WCG I'm sure we'll be fine and we can only get better as a team

Did you do anything special when you prepared for the WCG qualifier?

We played about 2/3pcws for 5 days, just got the teamplay and the flow going, didn't have time to make any strats, for Italy I'm sure we'll be more prepared!

What suprised you the most at the British WCG qualifier?

The fact that we were going to win an XBOX 360, 26" LCD TV and a Mp3 Player, we only found out while the lower bracket final was going on!
