Another night gone and another week in wc3l comes to a close for us. We're currently sitting on #2 this week, I am pretty optimistic about our claim for the #1 spot. Our players so far have been hitting the right spot, with Susiria really performing well in these past games of ours we can really look forward to a strong performance from him nearly all the time.
As a manager I strongly feel very comfortable when playing a certain team or I don’t, for example versus SK its always a little dicey because of the lineups but against Fighting it was a lot more at ease mainly because we were controlling the flow of the clan war. When we took on Fnatic, it was a similar feeling that we had when we played against SK. Its mostly because we don’t under estimate any team and Fnatic as always has that curse!
I believe in our match vs fnatic we were a little tensed because of the "curse" that Nordahl always talks about. Let me just talk a little about this curse, Fnatic was formed from remanents of the 64AMD team which used to beat MYM fairly often in the past seasons. Even at the LAN finals we faced a strong 64AMD which knocked us out. The first season of Fnatic, they managed to beat us with a 1-4 score. Since last season though we have consistently beaten them with 4-1 scores and even at NGL we beat them, but in the latter game we just about managed to win with a close 4-3 score in favor of us. This is the curse thats got laid to rest at last.

Our team recieved a rude shock last week when we got beat by SK.International with a 2-3 scoreline. I feel strongly that the maps weren't in our favor, but credit goes to SK for totally outplaying in our strong area (the 2on2) and coming out on top. This is the second time they've beaten us in regular season and to be honest its a little annoying. Going with a loss on your mind against any team isn't easy and playing the "cursed" Fnatic is another issue! The matchups went as we planned them although we were surprised to see Rotterdam appear on Turtle
Rock. we decided to mix our 2on2 lineup as well, as we gave Lucifer and Susiria some 2on2 play time. I must say these two players form the crux of our team and this was evident in last nights clanwar. Xyligan and Storm were once again pitted against each other, a matchup we wanted for Jae Woong and once again after a close 2-1 score Xyligan came up triumphant.
Another series that caught my fancy was Satiini versus Moon, two really strong elf players, one on the rise and the other struggling a little. It was a pleasure to watch these two in action. A lot has been said about Jaeho’s form in recent times, his losses are remembered a lot more than his wins. Yesterday when he took on Satiini on Lost temple in Game 2, the first half of the game probably must have reminded fans of the original Moon! However mid way he seemed to have lost his balance but then returned well to completely decimate Satiini’s army.

Captain Susiria played extremely well yesterday as well, going against an orc I was a little apprehensive, but Nordahl seemed very confident of Susiria, rightly so. Jung-Ki has been playing like the gosu he always was and seems to be playing so well even now. He managed to beat Rotterdam on Turtle Rock with some domination after a good creepjack. He then proceeded to perform some smart moves on Echo Isles, when he sent his ghouls to kill the peons on the gold mine whilst attacking Rottis burrows with his army. His quick switch to ghouls and then back to fiends, amazing stuff indeed. One can clearly make out when a player is in form and Susiria actually oozes confidence when he plays. Ditto when he played the 2on2 with Lucifer, the games were well played and Susirias form is important for us as a team!
Our next Playday pits against Mousesports, which features a good mix of European players. Our aim is to keep it tight for our opponents and make sure we get the best possible matchups for our players. Their team features a lot of interesting Elf players with some other races spread as well. So making a lineup for them will be interesting.
Coaches Corner with MYM|BerA!
What do you think about MYM vs fnatic clan war? Maybe we had got 5-0? or 4-1 is good?
hm, I think that Fnatic is a strong team so a 4-1 is a good score, so I guess we did pretty well.
Do you think Storm has some problems?
no, I think he is a good gamer and he plays a lot of games anyway... So I guess we should see some good games from him in the future!
Which game in the whole clanwar was the most exiciting?
Eh, Moon vs satiini was the best I think, mainly because it was so good and exciting, there wasnt a clear winner any time!
What do you feel about captain susiria!
I think he is a good team leader, always thinks about the team. He doesnt do things for his sake but he always does things with the team and other players in mind!
What about our next clan war against mouz?
I think mouz is a good team and it will be hard for us to take a complete win, but I believe with our players in form that we should be able to take the win!!
Too bad I started late ;) I aim to make it a weekly column for your WC3L dosage!

MYMers need time to get into forms. Considering from the theory, MYM is the best becuz of Moon and Lucifer, but we need the real best, we should get the last champ!

#15: Yes, long story, but in the end the 2on2 was not needed and we both made it to LAN finals. We ended up as the fourth team, since mTw backed out or w/e.
